Our approach to responsible recruiting

AndHire helps ecommerce companies build stronger teams through focused recruiting, structured screening and AI-assisted workflows. Because recruiting involves people, trust and personal data, we design our process around clarity, human review and responsible data handling.

Company

German company, international reach

AndHire is a German company based in Hamburg. We support DACH ecommerce companies and work with international recruiting partners to access broader talent markets. Our goal is a clear recruiting process where clients understand how candidates are sourced, reviewed and presented.

Data

EU-first data setup

Our core recruiting data is stored in systems located in the EU/EEA wherever possible. We keep client contact data, candidate data and recruiting records in controlled systems with clear access rules.

Cross-border

Cross-border recruiting

Some sourcing and screening support may be provided by selected partners outside the EU/EEA. Where cross-border access to personal data is needed, we apply safeguards such as clear partner agreements, access control, limited data visibility, security requirements, confidentiality obligations, Standard Contractual Clauses where required, and regular review of who can access what.

AI

AI-assisted, human-led

We use AI to improve speed and consistency. AI may help us summarize CVs, structure interviews, compare profiles and prepare client-facing reports. But AI is not the final decision maker. Human review remains part of the process before candidates are presented to clients.

Fairness

Candidate fairness

We evaluate candidates based on role-relevant criteria, such as relevant experience, skills, communication ability, availability, salary expectations, tool knowledge, ecommerce background and role fit. We avoid unnecessary personal information and keep candidate profiles focused on professional suitability.

Confidentiality

Client confidentiality

Hiring plans are sensitive. We treat client information, role briefs, salary ranges, business plans and hiring discussions as confidential. We do not publicly disclose client hiring needs unless the client has approved it.

Scope

No unnecessary ecommerce customer data

At the start, AndHire focuses on recruiting. We do not need access to a client’s ecommerce customer database to provide recruiting services. If a future project requires access to analytics, store or customer data, this must be separately agreed and reviewed from a data protection perspective.

Security

Security principles

We follow practical security principles: use secure systems, limit access by role, avoid unnecessary data exports, keep candidate and client records organized, review partner access, use confidentiality rules, and delete or archive data when no longer needed.
